Login admin
Click on edit site settings
Check "Allow checkout with 0 inventory?" Under product settings.
If the product has too many options and it takes too long to generate
variations and it does not need inventory, you could create a custom
product. The official custom product tutorial is a bit lacking but there
is info on blogs, the wiki and this mailing list if you look around...
