I found an issue on a custom payment module I made where the discounts
weren't being applied, and since it was based on the authorizenet module, I
did a search, and I find none of the payment modules do anything about
order.discount, and I notice order.sub_total doesn't have the discounts
into account when being calculated.
The only place where I see order.discount being used is in paypal express
module, with this line (that without looking around, doesn't look very
good):
'TAXAMT' : '%.2f' % (order.tax - order.discount),
and in the test modules. searching for just .discount doesn't give a lot
more hits
So.. what's up with discounts? how are they supposed to be applied? I don't
use order.total because I send a detailed (sub_total and taxes separated)
request to the payment gateway. Should I use sub_total - discount manually,
or is there another way to do this "standard"ly?
thanks
Tomas
