I have this weird issue that is occurring out of every 100 orders or so and wanted to find out if anybody else has experienced anything similar.
After a user puts in their order information, but before the order payment is authorized (authorize.net), a duplicate order object is created, and the payment authorization is attached onto the second order, leaving the first order incomplete. Looking at the time stamps, it typically happens 1-5 seconds after they have submitted their payment information, so I'm assuming its getting duplicated after they click confirm and their card is getting processed. Anybody have an issue like this before? Something that I'm also experiencing, which may be related, is it seems like I'm having some strange cache issues where it seems a new cart object is being created at times when it shouldn't. This sometimes causes the user to see a 'your cart is empty' page when they go to the cart/checkout page. If they do a hard refresh though, it most of the time fixes the issue and they can then see the cart that contains their items.
