Hi Aaron,
I applied your patch, switched plain/text to text/plain and fixed the e-mail
linking along the way. I also added the "* " in the menu items as you
suggested.
I tested the output in my Savannah test install - it compiles without
warning.

Do you have a specification of the allowed @node values?
Mathieu: the default licensing text seems to be the GNU-style pre-GFDL one. We
could switch to the GFDL, what do you think?
There is another issues: 'files.txt' is treated as a question while it is a
document index. Btw Mathieu, how about enabling default sorting of the file
names? Relying on the default/random filesystem order is not very meaningfull,
and that would allow both of us to stop maintaining 'files.txt'..
