Update of bug #4542 (project savane):
Status: None => Confirmed
Release: => 1.2
Summary: Use easy to understand dates => date localization
ignore the difference between en_US and en_GB
_______________________________________________________
Follow-up Comment #1:
Sunday 16 October 2005 (en_IN, en_SG)
Sunday, 16 October, 2005 (en_PH)
Sunday, October 16, 2005 (en_HK)
as results of
%x locale’s date representation (mm/dd/yy)
seems to be plainly buggy.
This is not inside Savane that we can fix such bug.

Considering Savane's layout, all these formats seems acceptable anyway.
But I think the issue resides in the fact that the i18n currently does not
makes the difference between all "en" cases and set the locale to the default
"en", which is "en_us", and that's definitely a bug.
