Hi,

I was not aware that savannah.gnu.org is running the lastest SVN trunk on
their website. Is that site updated automatically, so that each SVN commit
goes directly live?

If so, I apologize for possibly breaking some things for you during the
merge of the formatting text branch into the trunk. Due to the amount of
changes on that branch, I was not able to review all diffs at once, so I
decided to merge step by step. Obviously, some changes included calls to
functions which had not yet been merged into the trunk.

As I see it, the merging is now completed. You should be able to run Savane
from the trunk again.

In order to avoid such breakages in the future, I'd like to know if the
Savane trunk should be "absolutely stable", i.e. that all development
should happen on branches and then be merged in one step, so that the trunk
is (theoretically) runnable at all times?

Regards,
Tobias
