I dont know if you are familiar with Kerberos, but believe me, this stuff is
so complicated to get running that no one gets interested in Kerberos by pure
chance, you dont walk in that stuff without being forced to :))
The PAM stuff, mainly used in fact for AFS, but that could be used by
Kerberos (and if you know AFS, you surely know that's somehow linked to
Kerberos), and is probably of no interest to normal human beings :)
I updated the sentences around this stuff, specifying it is related to login
on the web interface, which was not obvious.
