Not really; and in fact, it was intention of script authors to use the email instead of user name when available, for two decades, but the system was configured so that email was absent at that point. To tell the truth, I can't explain why it's important to avoid exposing emails here; actually, that same email address is routinely exposed in messages like https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/www-commits/2025-08/msg00042.html (I don't think trivial obfuscations like used in that file may work these days); to say nothing of the mbox files, to say nothing of the uncontrolled subscribers.
