Hi, Many people are complaining that the git repository access on git.savannah.gnu.org are slow.
I'd like to propose a mechanism that 1. makes things work faster for the users, 2. reduces the load on git.savannah.gnu.org. Namely, by use of *efficient* mirrors of the git repositories.
