I now know its not a good idea to post to /bugs and leave the desk for lunch
and return to find firefox chewing 100% of one cpu with the post screen
frozen.
Do I correctly gather from this that a Firefox bug turned an honest POST into a DoS attempt that got your IP address (rightly) banned at the server?

I miss when Mozilla packages were the gold standard of Internet client software...
