Ok, it works now.
One thing I noticed is that Firefox (at least on Windows) does not like
downloading files with multiple extensions ending with .sig (i.e. .tar.gz.sig
or .tgz.sig).
Files with a single .sig extension, though, can be downloaded fine.
This is an issue also for the cvs Savannah project (which has files ending
with .bin.sig for e.g. for Solaris) so it's not me who did something wrong
;-) this time
I will probably report this to Firefox support.
