In this case I think it makes the most sense to delete the hook.
It had at one time supported two things. One was a CI build that I was
maintaining but that went away in 2007. The other was mail to a target Karl
maintained.
I think both of those have expired. So I am going to clean up and unconfigure
the old cruft that was left behind that tripped things up here.
