Just thought I'd update everyone on the progress with the GUI,
Tonight has been the first successful implementation of using the soapbox
interface with liquidsoap, it's brought together elements from the interface
and work done in rocket. There are some make files in the soapbox directory
but these are incomplete, Aim2 has volunteered to getting them complete and
working, so for now please just run ./soapbox from the src directory.
You will require pygtk and pysqlite to run the GUI.
The GUI so far let's you add Jingles to the board and play them, the
following is not yet complete:
Pages Navigation (The left & right arrows)
Boards Navigation (You can add/edit boards but not navigate them)
Jingle edit once added.
The following bugs are known:
You cannot edit the label of a jingle
If you add more than one item of one file then you will encounter problems.
Underlines in label names added underlines in label text
I would raise tickets but I'll fix these promptly.
I anticipate a 0.1 release of soapbox by next Monday, this will include
jingles and some music functionality.
