Hi all.
I do not have time to look over Toots' shoulder right now, but I'd be
happy if the patch is commited as long as there is people to test it. When
I added the most recent features to output.file.vorbis a while ago, I did
not re-use the new base class for other file outputs, as the re-opening of
the file plays with the encoder setup in a tricky way, and I had had
enough testing and tweaking with vorbis.
Since Toots made some cleanup in that area recently it might be that there
is nothing more to do now. Also, this is an SVN, so it's okay to have some
buggy code for a while, and anyway that thing won't hurt people who do not
use the new features (hopefully). But I beg anybody interested in these
features to test and report problems, to make sure that we don't end up
with a forbidden dark corner in our code.
