Yes, this package is really outdated, and it also seems they added back binary 
stripping, which leads to this issue.

However, begining with 0.3.4, this will no longer happen.
Also, ubuntu juste synchronized to our latest debian package (0.3.6-2 at the 
moment), so you'll get the latest version there too..
