Yes, yes I already told in private that the patch was a bad idea.
My latest analysis showed a strange thing on input.http. From the script, it is
supposed to
poll every 10 seconds, which is the case at the begining:

2009/01/24 08:38:34 [djrelaxer:4] Connecting to
<http://djrelaxer.no-ip.org:8000/trancemix.ogg>...
2009/01/24 08:38:44 [djrelaxer:4] Connection failed: error while communicating
to socket!
2009/01/24 08:39:44 [djrelaxer:4] Connecting to
<http://djrelaxer.no-ip.org:8000/trancemix.ogg>...
2009/01/24 08:39:55 [djrelaxer:4] Connection failed: error while communicating
to socket!
2009/01/24 08:40:55 [djrelaxer:4] Connecting to
<http://djrelaxer.no-ip.org:8000/trancemix.ogg>...
2009/01/24 08:41:05 [djrelaxer:4] Connection failed: error while communicating
to socket!

But then at some point, polling seems to stop for exactly one minute:
2009/01/24 08:44:25 [djrelaxer:4] Connecting to
<http://djrelaxer.no-ip.org:8000/trancemix.ogg>...
2009/01/24 08:44:35 [djrelaxer:4] Connection failed: error while communicating
to socket!
(... other stuff ...)
2009/01/24 08:45:35 [djrelaxer:4] Connecting to
<http://djrelaxer.no-ip.org:8000/trancemix.ogg>...
2009/01/24 08:45:45 [djrelaxer:4] Connection failed: error while communicating
to socket!

And again stops for one minute:

2009/01/24 08:46:45 [djrelaxer:4] Connecting to
<http://djrelaxer.no-ip.org:8000/trancemix.ogg>...
2009/01/24 08:46:56 [djrelaxer:4] Connection failed: error while communicating
to socket!

Hence, I believe if there could be something wrong coming from the input.http.
I remember that testing with big buffers lead to some strange behaviour in
the past for me.

It could also be that the connection succeeds for some reason during one minute,
but I have some doubt about this...

Romeo: could you test with default parameters on input.http, and probably the
others ?
I will try to test input.http with a high buffer on my side..

Romain
