Hi all !

Many of your have expressed the need to have a secured access to the command
server, for instance using an authentication mechanism.

I have just commited some documentation explaining our position on this topic
and giving an example about how to define a remote SSH access to the command
server. See:
  http://savonet.sourceforge.net/doc-svn/secure_server_access.html

The technique should work with any version of liquidsoap that has the unix
socket option for the command server -- which is quite old now !

With a little bit of imagination, you should also be able to cook a similar
technique for an HTTP access for instance -- contributions to the doc as
warmly encouraged by the way :-)

Hope this helps,
Romain
