I had a major server hack this past weekend that forced me to reinstall my server. As such, I have to recompile liquidsoap. I figured I'd give the new version a try. I was able to work through quite a few problems the install through at me, but this one absolutely has be stuck: /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lX11 collect2: ld returned 1 exit status File "caml_startup", line 1, characters 0-1: Error: Error during linking make[3]: *** [liquidsoap] Error 2 make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/music/liquidsoap-full-1.0.0-beta1/liquidsoap-1.0.0-beta1/src' make[2]: *** [all-auto-ocaml-prog] Error 2 make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/music/liquidsoap-full-1.0.0-beta1/liquidsoap-1.0.0-beta1/src' make[1]: *** [all-subdirs] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/music/liquidsoap-full-1.0.0-beta1/liquidsoap-1.0.0-beta1' make: *** [all] Error 1
I receive this after I run 'make'. Here is a copy of my PACKAGES: ocaml-cry ocaml-ao ocaml-mad ocaml-taglib ocaml-lame ocaml-ladspa ocaml-dtools ocaml-duppy liquidsoap I cannot seem to locate any sort of config.log error or anything like that. :( Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated. thank you ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Beautiful is writing same markup.
