When I *designed* the 'end filler', I assumed that the switch would
interrupt the last item in the end filler when the next 'Show block'
time slot occured. For that reason, I made sure that the the last item
in the end filler was longer than the current time slot allotment. I had
measured precisely the time needed for that last item. Looks like
my assumption might have been incorrect.

Before trying Liquidsoap, I had tried Campcaster. It would not do the job
for two reasons: first it was not a static scheduler. Second, it uses a
gui interface. Very nice app for DJs and those who need a dynamic
scheduler.
I also looked at Airtime, but it still would not fit the bill.
I've also looked at Soma and a bunch of others. Same problems.

Liquidsoap does the scheduling quite nicely.

While waiting for a reply, I tried setting it to false. Now it works great
-
the transitions are little on the *abrupt* side, but, oh well, at least it
works. It sure would be nice to have a smooth transition!

I finally put it online (both at 32 mono).

On our homepage, at the bottom, I've added a link: 'powered by Liquidsoap'

Thanks for all your help, David and Romain!
Blessings,
Andre
