Wait, I wasn't talking about the filler. I agree that the filler just
needs to be long enough. We don't care if it's too long, it can be
interrupted (more or less abruptly). I was talking about the ending
jingle, which is played only once. Is it not what the problem was
about in the first place? If the jingle arrives too late, after that
we switch to another show, we'll never hear it. If this wasn't the
problem, because you already planned this by computing the duration of
the show, then let's forget about this misunderstanding.

Wow, I didn't suspect you tried all those before trying liquidsoap!
It's really interesting. I truly welcome applications like airtime
which will probably be better than raw liquidsoap for many people (we
certainly don't want frustrated people accumulating on this list) but
I'm also glad that many of you need more flexibility.

Good to hear that! You should be able to setup simple transitions
easily, using our cookbook:
