Well, let me state it clear: * One of the most exciting challenge for me as a developer * One of the most frightening challenge for me as a developer I personally do not believe that this is so much relevant for audio media: transcoding is cheap when you have a handful of streams and quality loss is not really a problem -- or you can use FLAC and WAV nowadays. However, for video streams, it would be priceless..
