I found why !!!
I let "set("decoder.debug",true)" since 0.92 . Under any 1.0 it crashes
liquidsoap.
If you want to fill a bug case for that,
I sent you directly david the log file of the tests you asked me.
Thank you very munch, your last line of you message (about decoder.debug ) give
me the answer !!!
next steps : make ogg/flac working fine and.. video .

Just wanted to let you know that I tried the following here:
liquidsoap 'output.pulseaudio(playlist.safe("~/media/audio/jazz"))
I only listened for two tracks (gotta leave for the office) but
everything worked fine for me (latest hg, pretty much). Note that
using playlist.safe() is a bit expensive because it requires a full
check of the playlist prior to playing.
