Hi there,
So I'm trying to configure Liquidsoap to work with the init.d file, and the
problem is it reports it's working swimmingly but doesn't actually seem to
start up or generate any logs under /var/log/liquidsoap as I'd expect
(according to the docs). Even when overiding the log file in the script it
still doesn't seem to output anything to a different logging dir. However
when I run "service liquidsoap start" it reports that the channels are
"OK".
The other issue I had was the script was pointing to the wrong dir,
possibly because I'd moved from the package version of liquidsoap to
installing from source (due to the Ubuntu package issues). I altered the
init.d script to point from /usr/bin/liquidsoap to
/usr/local/bin/liquidsoap, which appears to be the correct version (it has
the correct modified date for when I installed from source and gives the
correct output on "liquidsoap --version"), but it may have unexpectedly
created some issues.
If anyone has any advice, or knows where I can grab a init.d script correct
for version 1.0.0 in case my version is wrong and left over from the Ubuntu
package install, I'd be very grateful,
Regards,
