"liquidsoap --help" return for me :
[...]
  --no-pervasives
           Do not load pervasives script libraries (i.e.,
           /usr/local/lib/liquidsoap/1.0.1/*.liq).
[...]

But /usr/local/lib/liquidsoap/ don't exist.

my version : 6fd3a746b7e42ce320ca92198eeac782 
liquidsoap_1.0.1~squeeze~sfo-1_amd64.deb
apt repository version : 6fd3a746b7e42ce320ca92198eeac782 
liquidsoap_1.0.1~squeeze~sfo-1_amd64.deb

and a locate on utils.liq found nothing on my server.
