On the contrary, this release is the first one to come with a windows build straight out at release announcement. I've been working with reporters to fix and enhance windows features, for instance enabling external encoders. I am still surprised by your issues and have had a hard time wrapping my head around it. Any chance you could come to our slack channel? I think it could be wise to create a windows users channel and try to gather more feedback there.
