Hi Lorenzo, As per http://status.aws.amazon.com/, Amazon now has problems with EBS volumes/snapshots. EBS-related calls result in errors most of the time. This volume was finally attached to your instance as /dev/sdc (not mounted since there is another volume already mounted by you).
