I launched a small farm with 1 custom role and 1 app-rails role (farm id 2082). I made some modification on the app-rails role and then did a "Synchronize to all" and named my new role "rails". The system gave me a flash notice that the new role was being created, but there was no record in the role list for it. A few minutes later a new instance was launched with the new role, and the old instance was terminated. I looked in the AWS management console, and the AMI is showing up there, it just doesn't seem that Sclar knows about it. The currently running instance id is i-47427d2e.
