Hello Hareem, Due to EC2 limitation, micro instances can be launched ONLY on EBS based instances (where root device partition is on EBS volume). So you have 2 options:
1. Use CentOS Scalr shared roles. (They are EBS based) 2. Import non-scalr EBS based AMI to scalr using this manual: http://wiki.scalr.net/How_to.../Import_a_non_Scalr_server Regards, Igor Friday, September 17, 2010, 6:56:55 PM, you wrote: > Can someone please advise how to properly launch micro instances.
