The SCM implementation does not and will not support mixed exactness
numbers:

  (real? -2.5+0.0i)              ==> #t
  (eqv? -2.5 -2.5+0i)            ==> #t
  (eqv? -2.5 -2.5+0.0i)          ==> #t
