Agree. Its just that someone here might be interested in the metadata as (s)he owns the DB. And as those were not that easy to obtain as I'd wished... ;) ChessBase seems to hate interfaces for whatever reason. > Anyway, I'd like to release a kind of Scid 3.6.23 release > candidate for people to ckeck latest changes, and > especially changes I made on block sizes, where > performance problems on PGN tags stripping are over (I > made regression tests on hundreds of thousands of games so > I think everything is ok). CC-features are almost complete. Nothing lacking I immediately realise. I checked in the german help yesterday and am working on the problems of my perl-helpers ie. to transfer them to tcl. But what is easy in stock perl seems a challenge in stock tcl. Anyway this will not hinder to pack it up as release candidate (not even as GA). Hooking up the help to the dialog, but well it's all accessible from the menue. Not really a hinderance for a RC either. Concerning my problem with indicees: I inserted another book, no problems there. I've some left, if the error arrises again I'll do the checks we talked about. -- Kind regards, Alexander Wagner Universitaetsbibliothek Ilmenau Langewiesener Str. 37 98693 Ilmenau Tel.: 03677/69-4521 , Fax.: 03677/69-4617 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
