I strongly suggest to avoid using predefined keys as that would seriously 
limit future uses.
For me the best way is to use additional PGN tags, as suggested by Pascal, 
just adding support for them
Something like:
[Category "Blunders/Opening;Tactics/Mate"]
[Category "Blunders/Endgame;Tactics/Stalemate"]

And in Exercises window you will see following tree
Blunders
---- Opening
---- Endgame
Tactcis
--- Mate
--- Stalemate

Clicking on given category shows all exercises assigned to it.
In the future, some way to remember score/solved may be added.
