For Debian I have removed the Tablebases, books, bases, engines 
and also the Pocket (perhaps this was not necessary but its not needed).

a ./configure --debian is not a big problem. Just convert --debian into the 
input parameters ;). Another problem is that I had to adjust the 
makefile.conf and start.tcl because the Debian policy wont allow to install 
in /usr/local.
