I suppose that would do the trick. Heck it frustrated me quite a bit, when I found out that the current filter has no bearing whatsoever on the games selected for the crosstable. As a side note, if some people in the crosstable have 100 games (or more) while others still have 99 (or fewer), the columns are not aligned.
