I didn't open a mask in advance, how do I make a mask/open one?

It is good to hear that guides are helpful, this was my intention when I
thought about writing guides! I will upload part II, I have written most
of it already but I have some workload for the following 4-5 days, after
it I will finish it off and upload it :)
