I can easily reproduce this as well, but:

The problem only occurs when you leave the comment window open after 
storing the comment. If you close it before executing further steps, the 
problem does not occur.

If you leave the comment window open, you can - in docked mode - even 
re-focus the PGN window and see the comment disappear "live".
