Regarding the LaTeX export, I'm afraid I don't have specific knowledge
on that topic, so I'm not able to provide useful input.
As for the PGN date format: yes, section 8.1.1.3: "The Date tag value
field always uses a standard ten character format: YYYY.MM.DD".
Therefore, [Date "0863.??.??"] is correct.
For games or studies with multiple authors, a common practice is to use
other tags, such as Annotator, or any custom tag name you find suitable.
