Why not run wine32 in a SL6 VM in SL7? Personally, IMHO, why run anything critical that you can't run elsewhere (such as a brower, ssh client, etc) not in a VM?
Basically because of the loss of functionality (a window inside a window, each with a different task bar, is a pain in the neck). I ran XP in a VM to run things for the longest time. Was tickled to get it to run natively. If Spice ever gets Coherence (seamless windows) going, that may be what I have to do. Wine runs well in Fedora Core 21 and is typically at or near the latest version. -T -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Computers are like air conditioners.
