We solved the problem. Seb Juraszek, our it manager who
was setting up the new server, removed the following packages
Running /usr/bin/pirut selecting "Virtualization" uninstall
removes these two packages
KVM
Virtualization
One of the RPMs installs/enabled virtualisation. Once installed the
system itself becomes the first virtual machine (VM) on bootup without
actually configuring any VMs.
According to google searches the max RAM you can assign a VM is 32GB.
