I wondered if it was that or some kind of ploy to sell more tickets.
Like two parts means you have to buy two tickets (albeit a year a
part)to see the whole story. It makes sense given they're filming the
whole thing at once. No real extra work to produce but more money
coming in the door. They brokedown the Trilogy into three movies
rather than six. I would think they could do the same for the hobbit.


Because the track record of the LOTR franchise is good with Jackson,
I'm willing to put my reservations on hold upon seeing the actual
film but I can't help being suspicious.
