WOW!!! I'm impressed. Seriously, this is the most balanced post I have seen from you on this issue. Again.. something we agree on..that both faced horrible bias. I get that you feel the bias she faced was worse than the bias he faced. While I may disagree, there is a lot of facts out their to support either of our positions. I really appreciate you taking the time to answer those.
I realize that the racial incidents, including threats on his life where reported on, but his supporters say when they reported it to the campaign and asked to call the media, the campaign discouraged it and refused to comment when the media made inquiries. You say pointing out sexism is not playing the gender card, but she not only pointed out sexism, but blamed it on her failures, despite frequently winning the male vote and often loosing the female vote. Obama, often lost because of race, but never addressed it--ever as an explanation for loosing. Yet you say Obama has played the race card and you have never explained how he played the race card. If he pointed out racism, would that have been playing the race card? If so, why is it okay to point out sexism but not racism?
