My oldest son and I watch Heroes together. It's not a great show but it's a
common ground we can share and talk about. He's not particularly sophisticated
in his TV tastes but who really is at 13?
So we watched the finale on Monday. It was terrible. Because the show has not
been very good since season 1, it wasn't a bitter disappointment. However, even
by the lowered expectations and standards I hold this show to so I can enjoy
with the kidlet, it was surprisingly bad. It's almost like they watched the BSG
finale and said, "We can make something even stupider than that."
As it ended, my son looks over at me and says, "Daddy that was so bad they
ruined the whole show."
My thoughts exactly.
