Hi all, As discussed earlier, I have started working on packing the practical wisdom found in answers to questions on this mailing list or other online forums such as metaoptimize, stackoverflow, cross validated and quora.
This is a very early work in progress. Right now it lives in a single file in the branch doc-faq of my repo: https://raw.github.com/ogrisel/scikit-learn/doc-faq/doc/faq.rst There are many many TODOs, empty sections and broken RST references but I wanted to advertise now to get some early feedback on this approach. The general goal is to bring people new to scikit-learn and machine learning with an intuitive navigation axis to dive into the project rather than browsing the narrative doc and examples at random.
