I completely agree, and since the author was very helpful when I originally
contacted me, if he told me he didn't want the work ported over to sklearn,
I'd respect his wishes. I don't think that's likely to be the case though,
if anything, if the code gets ported over, his original paper is likely to
get more exposure and more citations.
