Well, in the last 10 days or so, he has twice mentioned (IIRC) the end of this week as his target for a "1.69" release... but now with the whole redesign, recoding and lengthy alpha/beta testing, and RC phases for *your* margins, who knows? :)
There's a bug in translucent selection highlighting where the extra bit at the end of the line isn't highlighted. Means that when a completely empty (no whitespace) line is selected, you can't tell that it is selected. So there'll be a delay.
