Most likely thought to me is that cpp isn't getting associated with
SCLEX_CPP through something like not linking in that lexer.
Thanks, Neil - you are right on the money with this one! My spiffy
makefile has common variable assignments and per-platform ones... and
the Linux/GCC version of CFLAGS did not get "-DSCI_LEXER" added on - sigh.
