... Fixed by adding another flag that remembers that the open failed. This is not perfect as it would be good to be able to recognise that an open failed because of permissions, switch to the file manager or command line, change permissions and have SciTE automatically load the file.
Nicolas produced another patch that just assumes a modification time of 0 for all unreadable files which means that SciTE will load a file which had failed to load if the permissions are changed to make it readable. This change is a bit wide in effect so could cause problems.
