it's a typo error. it was consumer.
I don't think Perforce supports this. The mapping from filesystem
location to repository layout is configured in your Perforce
"clientspec". You would need to create a clientspec that reflects how
you want code checked out for your build and use that clientspec.
how do you create a "clientspec"? if it's possible with command line, you can perhaps add a command
for this, and we'll use it in continuum.
