Well, about the door dings.

I had my white 96 coupe in for service and one of the putzes decided to tag
a curb with one of the wheels.  Real nice.  I went back in, grabbed the
service manager, and explained to him that the car is PERFECT and that it
wasn't there before I brought it in.  After about 5 minutes of looking at it
and looking over the car, the manager said he would get me a new wheel and
tire combo from the mfg.  Cost them about $400 but it made me stay with them
when my car needed ANY service.  No incidents since then.

Of course, this was Bill Elliott Ford is Dawsonville, GA.. but hey.. they
are the only people I trust with my baby.
