The Denver Gaels mens & womens team will be hosting a Fundraiser tonight (Friday Dec 8) at Conor O’Neill’s in Boulder (13th & Pearl Street Mall). One of the Gaels own, Denise Ross, has a medical situations that calls for funds well past any insurance.  If you can stop in for a bit it would be greatly appreciated. And of course where ever our North American Champs go you can expect a good time. The fun starts at 6:30pm and at 8:30pm entertainment will be provided by Newcomers Home, described as an "Acoustic Latin, Folk Goove Band" ( …sure I’ll try a jar a dat)

Caledonia, a song he wrote 15 years ago about Scotland has become a Scottish anthem.  He has been awarded gold discs for his music used on the movie The Last of the Mohicans and for songwritng and co-producing on Kathy Mattea’s album Time Passes By.
