Dougie Maclean has had a pub of his own in Dunkeld for a while now.
I notice that he has now taken over a coffee bar on the Mound in
Edinburgh (this used to feature various kinds of music under its
previous owners but wasn't a great success, possibly because the
coffee was crap).

It has CDs on sale (guess whose) and continuous piped music (guess
whose). Has guest musicians sometimes (all of whom sound exactly
like Dougie Maclean, I think). They used to have a clarsach available
for drop-in musicians (probably removed because anybody who can play
a clarsach is going to sound more interesting than Dougie Maclean).

Somebody let me know when the first Dougie Maclean Caledonian Haggis
House opens in Tokyo?
